Quotes

And a Tidbit More

Quote of the Month

3/21/2019

“I know pleasure, when given it clears the air.” The quote is promiscuous by nature, of which it immediately plants in the mind, "Yeah, I know exactly what the author was thinking." It would come as an afterthought to think, "Maybe the author meant something else entirely,” as it sinks in that the quote is relatable in so many ways. Because indeed its intimacy imparts a much deeper expression.

The heart of the matter is that something must happen in order to clear the air. And yet, something has. And that, my dear, is spring.

That’s right! Spring has come and moved out the brutal winter stubborn about leaving because in some places it’s still fighting to stay.

Aah, what pleasure springtime brings. We feel it, we smell it, we hear it. In our minds, we even taste it. What great pleasure springtime brings. And to celebrate it we spruce up the house, the environment with some spring cleaning. Out with the old, in with the new.

And what better way to celebrate than with plants that clean the air. There are many to choose from as I have posted a few that caught my eye. Click on the images to learn about them.

But wait! So the quote originated with you thinking about spring? Yeah, I hear you, and the answer is no, far from it.

But I ask you this: Doesn't it bring pleasure when something unsettles you but suddenly it doesn't any more? When you have a meeting of the minds,  when something is said or done and that something makes a world of difference, no matter how small that something may seem, but nonetheless, significant, because it fulfills a desire? A desire to feel at ease--precisely what is needed. Suddenly the air is lighter; you're lighter and breathing more freely. And there it is, right in that moment, Pleasure.

Yes, I know pleasure, and when given, it clears the air.
